Jason Segel is a straight shooter

November 22, 2009

There are few more satisfying things in life than discovering two separate (and disparate) awesome things can combine together to form a single, even more awesome thing.

For every peanut butter and bubblegum letdown, there is a Jason Segal and Swell Season moment of clarity.

The freakishly tall Judd Apatow running mate is no stranger to music, having played a drummer in beloved television series Freaks and Geeks before penning a vampire musical in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. With puppets!

Segal recently hopped on stage with the once Once couple and sang a song that really cuts through a lot of the bullshit in today’s society. Who knew being honest could be so sweet? This song was in fact so incredible the crowd began singing along to the chorus. Did I mention the chorus was Segal’s phone number?

Perhaps Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard could learn a little about song writing from their non-special effects altered friend.

And no, I haven’t called 315-329-6673 yet, but please come back to report your results if you do.

Vid after the jump.

I just called. It’s a machine with Jason directing you to email healthtronics[at] “That’s health as in ‘good for your health’ and tronics as in ‘having to do with electronics’ at gmail dot com.”

Now, the question is, who is gonna email?
